We are establishing a sound understanding of the ecological, socio-economic and health impacts of plastic waste across the region.

These include: source to sink dynamics of plastic leakage, behavioural attitudes that contribute towards littering, impacts to ecology, human health and wellbeing, ecosystem services.

We are also  investigating the technical, environmental and social innovations required to elicit change.
